CAPABILITIES AND SERVICES WE PROVIDE

TRUCKING

Truck transportation plays a vital role in the beneficial reuse of bio solids by efficiently transporting these materials from wastewater treatment plants to sites where they can be used to improve soil fertility and contribute to sustainable land management practices.

BULK SPREADING

Bulk spreading is an important practice in agriculture and land management, allowing for efficient and targeted application of materials to improve soil fertility, crop production, and overall ecosystem health. By considering the specific needs of the land and following best practices, bulk spreading can contribute to sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural practices.

BI-PRODUCT LIME

Bio lime products offer several potential benefits. They can help raise soil pH in acidic soils, creating a more favorable environment for plant growth. Additionally, they can provide essential nutrients to the soil, improve soil structure and water retention, and promote microbial activity.

INDUSTRIAL WASTE
BENEFICIAL REUSE SOLUTIONS

Industrial waste materials with beneficial properties, such as biosolids, ash, or certain types of sludge, can be used as soil amendments to improve soil fertility, structure, and nutrient content. They can enhance the quality of agricultural land, gardens, or reclamation sites.

MUNICIPAL WASTE SOLUTIONS

Municipal waste solutions refer to the various strategies, practices, and technologies used to manage and address the waste generated by a municipality or local government. Facilitating the composting of organic waste, such as food scraps and yard trimmings, to produce nutrient-rich compost. Collaborating with local farmers or composting facilities for organic waste diversion.

TRANSIENT CLEANUP

Removing and cleaning up temporary encampments or settlements typically inhabited by individuals experiencing homelessness or living in transient conditions. We prioritize the safety and well-being of individuals living in the camps while also addressing the concerns of the broader community.

HORNER ENTERPRISES INC.

WHO WE ARE

Horner Enterprises, Inc. (HEI) was established in the fall of 1994 by Levitt David Horner and David Jason Horner, a father and son who had a vision for a family operated business that provided cost effective, honest, and complete turnkey waste management services to the pulp and paper industry, area farmers, the public, and regulatory agencies.

HEI’s approach to industrial residuals management is directed towards the beneficial use of industrial by-products and a sincere desire to provide the best quality control and service while achieving that goal.  Environmentally, beneficial re-use is a sound practice with positive public perception and advocated by the Department of Environmental Quality.

Economically, clients can realize increased saving through this program and avoid the spiraling cost of landfill disposal.

RECYCLE AND WASTE MANAGEMENT

At Horner we work with industrial bi-products and paper companies to recycle and turn bi-product into organic matter that rejuvenates the soil.
